Curry Pork Stir-fry, the Fusion Capitalist: Curry Pork with Peppers

Curry Pork Stir-fry with Peppers:

The Fusion Capitalist

Culinary borders are an illusion; flavor knows no flag. This dish is for the Fusion
Capitalist—the chef who recognizes that borrowing the best techniques and
ingredients from around the world (India’s curry, China’s wok, Japan’s speed)
creates the optimal single-serving result.
We use curry paste—a high-return ingredient that delivers rich, complex flavor
instantly. The technique is simple: marinate the pork quickly in the dissolved
curry paste, then sear the aromatics and finally blast the meat and vegetables.
This is a masterclass in globalized cooking: maximum flavor, minimal time
investment.

2. The Prep Dance (The Quick Coat)

2.1 The Instant Marinade: In a small bowl, dissolve the Curry Paste with the water
or broth. Add the pork strips and toss to coat them thoroughly. This quick coat is
enough to instantly infuse the meat.

2.2 The Slice Standard: Ensure the pepper, onion, and pork are sliced into strips of
similar thickness for even cooking.

3. The Stir-Fry Climax (The Scent Explosion)

3.1 Aromatic Soften: Heat the oil in your Wok or Large Skillet over medium heat.
Add the onion and stir-fry for 3 minutes until it softens. Add the ginger and garlic
and stir-fry for 1 more minute until fragrant.

3.2 The Turbo Sear: Increase the heat to medium-high. Add the curry-coated pork
to the wok. Stir quickly, breaking up any clumps, and cook for 2–3 minutes until
the pork is nicely browned and cooked through.

3.3 The Pepper Finish: Add the bell pepper strips and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes. You
want them tender but with a crisp bite. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve hot over rice. You’ve successfully leveraged global flavors for your solo
meal.
